Nepal - Marsayangdi River
“The surging waves and thunderous holes serve my quest for connection with nature’s awesome power.” – Dr. Stephen Gunther, California
NEPAL RAFTING - MARSAYANGDI RIVER - fits within a 2 week period
This river in Nepal has only recently been opened to the public. Bio Bio Expeditions is one of the first companies to offer you this rafting adventure in Nepal!
The Marsayangdi River in Nepal rises on the Northern slopes of the Annapuma Himal, flows east through Manang, and then swings south to join the Trisuli river at Mugling.
Marsayangdi means “raging river” in the local dialect, and this aptly describes this flow of continuous Class IV-V rapids requiring strong technical and quick maneuvering. White water glints in the sun reflections off this beautiful blue river. Looking back up river, one is consumed by magnificant and constantly changing views of the Annapuma and Manaslu Mountain ranges. This is a photographers dream!
