Join us on a Bio Bio Expeditions cruise adventure in the Galapagos Islands aboard the Yacht San Jose. From an exciting journey by private yacht through the Galapagos Islands archipelago - to snorkeling among marine life that will astound you - to a serene hike through a cloud rainforest populated by the highest number of bird species in the world, we strive to show you the beauty of the Galapagos Island in Ecuador - a country rich in history and culture, immersed in nature and teeming with wildlife.
Most of the unique creatures found in the Galapagos Islands have no fear of humans, so you will enjoy up-close encounters and have the opportunity to take some amazing close-up photos of the wildlife. Nature walks on the various islands will take you across bizarre landscapes ranging from lava rock trails to lush green highlands, past blue footed boobies and prehistoric-looking iguanas.
We travel from Quito. Ecuador on a flight to Baltra or San Cristobal and cruise between the Galapagos Islands of Santa Fe. Santa Cruz. Floriana. Espanola. Genovesa and Seymour Norte among others on the Yacht San Jose.
The Yacht San Jose is a private owner operated motor yacht that accommodates 16 passengers in cozy double and single cabins with an experienced and delightful crew (captain, naturalist bilingual guide, cook, assistant of cook, barman, engineer and two sailors), ample dining room, bar, saloon, dinning room, small library, sundeck. TV. VCR, stereo music system and diving platform. All the ship's comfortable cabins are fully air conditioned and are carpeted with a private toilet, shower (hot water), washbasin and vanity.
While visiting the many islands of the Galapagos, you will have a chance to see the Charles Darwin Research Institute and tortoise "Lonesome George", see glaciers, identify the many species of bird life in the Galapagos archipelago, explore lava tunnels and hike among blue footed boobies, flamingos and sea lions. What could be more fun??
In addition to our land adventures, you will marvel at the world you will experience underwater.
