Jeff Trauba
Jeff had been guiding and kayaking for the past 17 years. He has safety boated and guided on 3 continents. His current job as a sales rep takes him all over the Western U.S, which allows him to explore the beautiful rivers of the area. He is currently enamored with the Kaweah drainage in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
Jeff got his start in the river world on the desert rivers of Utah on college outdoor rec trips. From there it was on the Jackson. Wyoming where he first started guiding on the Snake River. It was all over after that. He has guided on the East coast classic Gauley, the famed Middle Fork of the Salmon, and the world class rivers of Calif…which eventually led him onto international guiding opportunities.
An accomplished kayaker and guide. Jeff is always up for a new adventure in some unknown remote river canyon. His down to earth, no nonsense demeanor adds a welcome calmness to running difficult whitewater.
If Jeff is not exploring remote rivers you will probably find him kiteboarding. The past few years Jeff has become a world class Kiteboarder and it seems the harderts decisions he has to make is whether to go rafting or kiteboarding!
